In anticipation of Keri Hilson’s upcoming sophomore LP No Boys Allowed, the beautiful songstress unleashes a new empowering ballad titled “Toy Soldier”. The song recounts the singer’s broken relationship and how her partner took advantage of her emotions. The theme is quite in tune with the album’s overall concept as Ms. Hilson told Billboard.

“It’s basically my way of saying ‘girl power’. The album is about empowering women to be themselves and keep control of their confidence… It’s not about alienating men, it’s just about wanting to school them on what it takes to be considered a man as opposed to a boy.”
