A new mixtape arrives for the holidays, this one coming from DJ Wick-It the Instigator. Getting the co-sign from Big Boi, the project blends together tracks from the Black Keys’ Brothers album and Big Boi’s Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty. The end results were quite impressive, and despite being unknown, let this be DJ Wick-It’s formal introduction.

Here is presumably the final push before Ross’ Ashes To Ashes drops in full tomorrow. This record also features the rising talents of Wiz Khalifa and is titled, “Retrosuperfuture” The song might be one of the best records on the tape, but we will find out for sure tomorrow.

Dr. Dre will officially be releasing the long awaited Detox album in February of 2011. Ten years after The Chronic 2001, Dre's timing is perfect for this album which is expected to do numbers. This news follows him confirming that "Kush" would be the first single from Detox (ft. Snoop Dogg & Akon). Confirmed features on the album will include Eminem, Jay-Z, The Game, Snoop Dogg, Akon and La Roux. There is no specific date in February, but it's said that February will be the month.
